WWE SmackDown April 19, 2013 Results




Fandango makes his entrance and dances his way to the ring, then he flirts with Lillian and asks her if she wants to ‘make some moves.’ He asked her if she’s Fandangoed before, because it feels good, then Lillian tries to walk away but he pulls her close. Fandango looks at her and spins her, then he leans in and dips her before saying that was terrible. Fandango says there’s nothing good about the way she dances, then he mocks the crowd and says they butcher his name and mock his dance worse than she dances. He asks if she can at least say his name correctly, but Santino comes out and says he is insulting and a sonnamagun. Santino says he has to admit, Fandango does have good moves, but he wants to show off his moves and brought a dance partner. Santino says he and Cobra will two step all over his face, then Santino dances and teases a Cobra Strike before Fandango takes a swing at him, but Santino pulls the ropes and sends Fandango out to the floor.  



Fandango vs Santino Marella
Fandango knocks Santino down and does his pose, then he sends him into the corner but Santino throws him into the turnbuckles and mocks him with a dance. Fandango comes back with some punches and a kick to the head, then he applies a three-quarters facelock but Santino makes it up so Fandango drops him with a punch to the stomach. Santino pops up and throws a few punches and hiptosses him, then he sets up a Cobra Strike but Fandango ducks and hits a reverse STO for the win.

Booker T and Teddy Long are shown talking about new changes, and Booker says he’s upset that Teddy made a match without talking to him. Big Show walks in and thanks Teddy for giving him a tag partner, and rips in to Booker for trying to get him hurt in a handicap match. Show thanks Teddy again and leaves, then Booker looks at Teddy, but Teddy pays no attention and tells Show to wait up for him.



Kofi Kingston vs Wade Barrett
Wade ties up and sends Kofi into the corner, but Kofi kicks him a few times before Wade punches him and kicks him in the ribs. Wade puts him in an armbar but Kofi reverses it, then he applies a side headlock but Wade throws him into the ropes and hits a shoulder block. Kofi comes back with a crossbody for two, then he applies an armbar but Wade punches him until Kofi ducks and hits a leg sweep and a crossbody. Wade sends Kofi into the corner and headbutts him, then he whips him across the ring but Kofi kicks him and tries to go up top, only to have Wade kick him off the apron. Wade goes outside and kicks him in the stomach, then he slams his head off the broadcast table before rolling him in and getting a near fall. Wade picks Kofi up and sets him on the top rope, then he kicks Kofi in the stomach and tries to get another quick pin attempt. He applies a headlock but Kofi breaks it, then he throws a few punches and hits a dropkick in the corner. Kofi tries going up top but Wade sweeps his legs and slams him down, then he goes back to a side headlock but Kofi gets back out of it and hits the ropes. Wade catches him and hits an inverted belly to back slam, then he makes a nonchalant cover but Kofi kicks out and rolls him up for the win.

Renee Young catches up with Mark Henry and asks why he attacked Sheamus, and he says because he can. Henry says that’s what he does, then Sheamus runs over and spears him into some equipment and says that’s what he does, fella, and walks away.



Alberto Del Rio vs Jack Swagger
Swagger tries to attack Alberto’s injured leg, but Alberto attacks Swagger’s shoulder and gets him to retreat to the corner. They tie up and Alberto goes to a waistlock, then he goes back after Swagger’s shoulder and gets him to back away again. Swagger hiptosses Alberto and puts him in a side headlock, then Alberto tries to send him into the ropes but Swagger hits a shoulder block. Swagger goes after Alberto’s leg and attacks him in the corner, then he drags him outside and tries to wrap Alberto’s leg around the ringpost. Alberto blocks it by kicking him into the barricade, then he throws him into the steps before rolling him inside and gets a two count. Alberto picks him up but Swagger suplexes him, then he whips him across the ring but Alberto reverses it and tries to splash him in the corner. Swagger counters by backdropping him over the ropes, then Alberto lands on the apron but Swagger snaps his leg on the ropes as Zeb ridicules him. Swagger tears the kneepad and bandage away from Alberto’s knee, then he twists around on the leg but Alberto kicks him in the head and sets up for an enziguiri. Swagger ducks and catches him with a powerslam for two, then Alberto rolls to the apron so Swagger tries to pull him in but Alberto applies an armbreaker variation on the ropes. Alberto pulls him towards the ropes and connects with a Backstabber for two, then he sets up a Cross Armbreaker but Swagger counters and tries to slam him down. Alberto rolls through and once again goes for his submission, but Swagger shifts his weight and applies the Patriot Lock. A. Alberto gets his knees up and jumps down on Swagger’s shoulder, then he goes for another Cross Armbreaker but Swagger throws him outside. Alberto rolls in and superkicks Swagger for two, but Swagger grabs the ropes before going for the Patriot Lock, only to have Alberto roll him up and take the win.

The Shield cuts a promo about attacking John Cena on Monday, and they say Ryback didn’t help because he knows how justice feels. He says Ryback showed the same look that the Undertaker showed, and they say Undertaker was afraid of them. Ambrose says Undertaker might be unbeaten at Wrestlemania, but they are undefeated, period, and they are going to prove why he should believe in justice this Monday.



The Great Khali, Hornswoggle & Natalya vs Primo, Epico & Rosa Mendes  
We get a clip of the teams fighting over a parking spot earlier today, then Rosa points at Natalya before slapping her in the face. She whips Natalya into the ropes but Natalya slaps her back, then she repeatedly slams her head on the mat before going for a Sharpshooter. Rosa grabs the ropes and trips her up in the corner, then she kicks Natalya a few times before hiptossing her and putting her in a straightjacket headlock. Rosa slams her head on the mat and mocks her, then she kicks her a few times before setting up a suplex. Natalya rolls through and tries to steal a rollup, then Epico tags in and runs towards Khali. He ends up getting tossed across the ring, then Khali chops him in the corner before Primo tries to interfere. Khali grabs him and throws him in the corner, then he chops them both before dropping Epico with a Brain Chop. Rosa screams at him from the apron but Hornswoggle pulls her leg, then Rosa chases him around the ring and screams at him. Natalya ends up dropping her with a clothesline, then Epico tries jumping at Khali but he gets caught midair and Khali chokebombs him for the win.



Mark Henry & Big Show vs Randy Orton & Sheamus
Sheamus and Henry talk trash before Henry tags out, then Show tries to corner him but Sheamus backs him away with a few punches. Show picks him up and throws him on the apron, then he clubs his chest a few times before Sheamus reverses it and proceeds to club him back. Show throws him in the corner but Sheamus stuns him with a kick, then Show ducks a corner kick and kicks Sheamus in the stomach. Sheamus avoids an elbow drop and makes a tag, then Orton hits a few punches before kicking Show in the stomach and backing in to the ropes. Show comes back with a side slam for two, then he headbutts Orton before tagging Henry in. Henry headbutts Orton and shoves him, then Orton fights back with some right hands but Henry puts him in a bearhug. Orton fights out so Henry tackles him in the corner, then Show gets back in and punches him in the stomach. Orton ends up making a tag and Sheamus catches Show with a kneelift, then he hits a Battering Ram before picking him up and hitting White Noise for two. Henry tries to interfere but Sheamus sees him and knocks him off the apron, then Show spears Sheamus as we go to a commercial break. We get back to see Show taunting Orton, then Sheamus fights back with some right hands but Show drops him with a straight right hand. Show hits Final Cut for a near fall, then he hits a scoop slam before Henry gets back in and applies a nerve hold. Sheamus fights to his feet and throws a few punches, but Henry kicks him in the head and gets a two count before Orton breaks it up. Show tags in and chops Sheamus, then Sheamus hits some body punches before Show uses the nerve hold Henry had earlier used. Show slams Sheamus on the mat and chokes him on the ropes, then he argues with the ref before picking Sheamus back up and punching him in the back. Show once again goes to the nerve hold before tackling Sheamus in the corner, then he hits the ropes but Sheamus chopblocks his knees and Sheamus finally makes the tag. Henry gets in at the same time as Orton and runs into some right hands, then Orton hits a few clotheslines that gets Henry off his feet. Orton connects with a DDT for two, then Henry rolls outside so Orton sets up a hanging DDT but Show breaks it up and tags back in. Orton grabs him and DDT’s him from the top rope, then he calls for the end and sets up for an RKO. Henry runs in and attacks him from behind, then Sheamus spears Henry through the ropes as Show chokeslams Orton for the win.
