WWE will present their biggest show of the year, WrestleMania 29, on Sunday, April 7th from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Welcome to my first pay-per-view predictions feature. Here’s how I think the WrestleMania 29 pay-per-view will unfold, and why. Let us know what you think and post your own predictions below.
Wade Barrett vs. The Miz Intercontinental Championship Match
Wade has been getting the best of Miz these past couple of weeks leading to WrestleMania. I can see The Miz outshining Barrett in this match and finally winning the belt.
Winner: The Miz
Chris Jericho vs. Fandango
I really don't know what to say about this match. This match was given just to showcase Fandango's wrestling skills. Vince McMahon is highly satisfied with Fandango's character and is using Chris Jericho to help him show it. Expect something great as Chris Jericho is good at putting over talent.
Winner: Fandango
Brodus Clay & Tensai & The Funkadactyles vs. Team Rhodes Scholars & The Bella Twins
Team Rhodes Scholars and The Bella Twins have been winning every match they had against Clay and Tensai & The Bella Twins. That should tell you that Tons of Funk are finally going to get the win.
Winners: Brodus Clay & Tensai & The Funkadactyles
Ryback vs. Mark Henry
Not quite sure on how the fans will react to this match. Apparently Henry has been getting a huge advantage over Ryback since the start of the feud. This match is definitely going to be a Test of Strength. Which we all know Ryback seems like the stronger of the two. I think Ryback is finally going to get his revenge and win on his WrestleMania debut.
Winner: Ryback
Team Hell No vs. Dolph Ziggler & Big E. Langston Tag Team Championship Match
Big E. has been literally attacking Team Hell No almost every week. Kane and Daniel are finally going to put that to a stop. Also AJ could be a big game changer in this match. She's definitely going to cause a mass effect on this match. I heard that AJ, Ziggler, and Langston are getting a huge push after WrestleMania but I'm not quite sure who's going to get the win.
Winners: Team Hell No
The Shield vs. The Big Show & Randy Orton & Sheamus
Really looking forward to The Shield's WrestleMania debut match. There have been rumors going around that this is Randy's moment to turn heel. I see The Shield winning and Randy getting upset over the loss and attacking his teammates.
Winners: The Shield
Alberto Del Rio vs. Jack Swagger World Heavyweight Championship Match
I really want Jack Swagger to win this match but I don't see Alberto Del Rio losing the belt anytime soon. Maybe if it wasn't for Swagger's DUI charge I would've thought he would win but since it happened, I knew Del Rio was going to retain.
Winner: Alberto Del Rio
Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar No Holds Barred Match (If Triple H loses his career is over)
Another match I'm not interested in. I am so tired of seeing Triple H in a No Holds Barred Match. Like REALLY? You couldn't have found another match type? Anyways, Triple H is the COO of the WWE. There is no way they're just going to force him to be removed from his position in the company.
Winner: Triple H
The Undertaker vs. CM Punk
Probably the best match on the lineup. Not really sure who is going to win this match either. CM Punk has been disrespectfully bashing The Undertaker; interrupts Paul Bearer's ceremony, steals the urn, taunts The Undertaker, and pours the ashes on him. Not many people are to keen on him pouring the ashes on him but I enjoyed it. It was entertaining to me. However I do see Undertaker deliberately kicking CM Punk's ass in this match.
Winner: The Undertaker
The Rock vs. John Cena WWE Championship Match
A lot of people are questioning the outcome of this match. I am one of them. I've heard so many things about John Cena turning HEEL, John Cena joining The Shield. Whatever the outcome is, it's definitely going to shock the WWE Universe. With all do respect, The Rock's time as WWE Champion is certainly up. You got to give John Cena his props and no I'm not saying that because I am a part of the Cenation.
Winner: John Cena
