Alberto Del Rio vs Jack Swagger No Disqualification
Del Rio and Swagger exchange punches. Del Rio off the ropes, clotheslines Swagger over the top rope to the floor. Suicide dive to the outside by Del Rio.. Del Rio brings out a kendo stick and slides back in the ring. Swagger takes the boots to Del Rio and is the first to use the kendo stick targeting Del Rio’s injured leg. Kendo shots from Swagger. Del Rio blocks one of the kendo shots and gets back to his feet. Kick to the midsection by Del Rio. Del Rio sent over the top ropes to the floor. Del Rio back to his feet and a kick to Swagger. Swagger and Del Rio brawling up the rampway. Del Rio hooks Swagger up and delivers a suplex on the steel ramp. Del Rio pulls a ladder out from under the ring. Flapjack to Swagger onto the ladder as we go to commercial. Back from the break and Swagger has a Front facelock on Del Rio. Belly to belly suplex by Swagger. Swagger to the outside introducing a steel chair into the match. Enziguri by Del Rio. Del Rio unloads on Swagger and Swagger with a kick to the bad knee. Clothesline by Swagger. Swagger wedges the steel chair into the corner. Armbreaker by Del Rio.. Series of clotheslines by Del Rio. Tilt o whirl backbreaker to Swagger. Del Rio has Swagger in the ropes and a series of kendo shots to the kidneys and the backstabber to Swagger. Del Rio looking for the cross armbreaker. Swagger counters, Del Rio with a kick to the head.  Swagger goes for the Patriot Lock. Del Rio into the cross armbreaker, Swagger turns into a pin but only gets a two count. Del Rio thrown shoulder first into the steel chair in the corner. Del Rio snaps the ladder hitting Swagger under the chin. Colter distracting Del Rio and Swagger from behind with the ladder. Swagger goes for the Swagger Bomb but Del Rio counters into the cross armbreaker. Colter slides the kendo stick to Swagger forcing Del Rio to break the hold. Ladder brought down on Del Rio and Swagger hits the gutwrench powerbomb for the three count




Layla vs Aksana
Kick to Aksana by Layla. Irish whip reversed by Aksana. Head scissor by Layla but Aksana sends her crashing to the floor. Aksana rolls Layla back into the ring. Baseball slide sends Aksana to the floor. Aksana back in. Jackknife cover by Layla. Aksana with a knee to the nose. Aksana working over the arm. Irish whip in the corner by Aksana. Snapmare out of the corner. Irish whip and Layla with a kick to the face. Elbow to the face by Aksana. Side headlock on Layla. Armdrag into a roll through and Layla with Infinite on Aksana for the three count


We get a look back at this past Monday night’s six man tag match with Team Hell No and Undertaker taking on The Shield. The Shield then cut a promo and said Monday night they stood face to face with Team Hell No and Undertaker and what happened? What always happens. Justice prevailed and The Shield were victorious and they broke the unbreakable. The true injustice is Undertaker escaped Raw with his soul still intact. It still feels like something is missing though and it’s because The Dead Man is still walking and breathing. Ambrose says tonight he faces Undertaker and has an itch that needs scratching and he is going to do what no one else has been able to do in 21 WrestleMania's. Tonight he’s going to beat The Undertaker if it’s the last thing he does and justice will be immortal and at the hands of The Shield Undertaker will not rest in peace.




Fandango vs Justin Gabriel
Gabriel mocking Fandango’s dance and Fandango hits a knee to the temple. Fandango hooks Gabriel setting up for a suplex. Gabriel floats over and delivers an armdrag. Roll through by Gabriel for a 2 count. Fandango to the outside. Fandango back in and Gabriel with another armdrag. Wristlock by Gabriel and Fandango backs him into the corner unloading with punches. Another knee to Gabriel. Fandango ties Gabriel in the ropes and delivers punches to the back of the head. Fandango to the outside delivers a kick to the back of the head. Gabriel with a series of kicks.  Gabriel with a splash in the corner. Gabriel to the top rope, Fandango catches him with a knee. Fandango with a side Russian legsweep. Fandango up to the top rope lands a leg drop for the three count.




Sheamus vs Big Show
Sheamus unloads on Show with kicks and punches. Show with a headbutt. Show delivering a series of open handed slaps to Sheamus’ chest. Sheamus fighting back and Show grabs him by the throat dumping him over the top rope. Show to the outside after Sheamus throwing him back in. Sheamus to the midsection follows up with a headbutt. Sheamus with The Fiery Red Hand. Sheamus going for a suplex but Show hits headbutt. Show runs into a boot. Sheamus out of the corner runs into a side slam from Show. Show with an elbow drop. Show delivers The Final Cut to Sheamus. Sheamus fighting back with a flurry of punches looking for a slam but Show falls on top of Sheamus. Sheamus runs into a knee and Show throws Sheamus shoulder first into the ring post sending him to the outside. Show with the irish whip into the steel ring steps. Sheamus beats the 10 count and rolls back into the ring. Show throws him into the corner. Show has the arm locked and Sheamus gets back to his feet fighting back. Sheamus with the DDT on Show. Sheamus unloading on Show and a series of clotheslines. Shoulder tackle in the corner, running knee, Sheamus hits the battering ram from the top rope. Sheamus looking for White Noise, Show looks for the chokeslam, Sheamus counters and connects with White Noise the second time around. Sheamus misses with the Brogue Kick. The brawl continues on the outside. Show back in the ring and Sheamus with the hot shot. Sheamus on the top rope. Mark Henry comes out for the distraction and Show hits the KO Punch for the three count.




Wade Barrett vs William Regal
Barrett comes out and cuts a promo on London and grave robberies and says there’s a body missing today and it’s standing in the ring and tells Regal he’s going to send him back from where he came.
Kick by Barrett to Regal. Barrett misses with a clothesline and Regal unloads on Barrett. Irish whip by Regal and clothesline to Barrett. Barrett cowering in the corner as Regal continues the attack. The referee pulls him off and Barrett sneaks a kick in. Barrett misses with the Bull Hammer. Overhead suplex by Regal. Regal misses with the kneelift and Barrett hits the Bull Hammer for the three count.




Randy Orton vs Mark Henry
Henry with a clothesline in the corner. Henry picks Orton up looking for the World’s Strongest Slam but Orton unloads with a series of punches. Henry to the outside and Orton continues the attack. Henry with a headbutt. Henry picks Orton up looking for the slam again but Orton runs Henry into the ringpost. Orton back in the ring stomping away at Henry. Henry floors Orton with a clothesline. Henry with shoulder tackles in the corner. Orton hits a series of clotheslines. Orton with a DDT. Orton pulls Henry through the middle ropes and lands another DDT. Orton goes for the RKO but Henry counters and goes to the outside. Henry drives Orton spine first into the ringpost. Sheamus runs in and delivers a Brogue Kick to Henry. Orton delivers the RKO.




Undertaker vs Dean Ambrose
Ambrose unloading on Undertaker. Undertaker grabs Ambrose by the throat and puts him in the corner unloading on Ambrose. Ambrose thrown to the outside. Undertaker drives Ambrose into the barricade. Undertaker with the legdrop across the chest of Ambrose. Undertaker misses with the big boot and Ambrose with the baseball slide sending Undertaker to the outside. Ambrose picks Undertaker up rolling him back in and a punch and knee to the head. Elbows to the face by Ambrose. Ambrose off the ropes and a dropkick to Undertaker. Neck lock by Ambrose into a neckbreaker. Ambrose measuring Undertaker with punches. Undertaker grabs Ambrose by the throat but Ambrose fighting out and now Undertaker and Ambrose exchange punches. Knee to Undertaker. Ambrose off the ropes gets chokeslammed by Undertaker. Rollins knocked off the apron, Reigns with a low blow and Ambrose hits a DDT. Ambrose goes to pick Undertaker up, Undertaker locks Hell’s Gate in for the submission. After the match, all three members of The Shield attack Undertaker. Undertaker takes out Ambrose and looks to chokeslam Rollins off the barricade but Reigns hits a spear through the timekeeper’s area.  Ambrose then brings the steel chair down on Undertaker. Shield then deliver the triple powerbomb through the announce table. Shield stand over a fallen Undertaker as Smackdown goes off the air

WWE SmackDown April 19, 2013 Results

Fandango makes his entrance and dances his way to the ring, then he flirts with Lillian and asks her if she wants to ‘make some moves.’ He asked her if she’s Fandangoed before, because it feels good, then Lillian tries to walk away but he pulls her close. Fandango looks at her and spins her, then he leans in and dips her before saying that was terrible. Fandango says there’s nothing good about the way she dances, then he mocks the crowd and says they butcher his name and mock his dance worse than she dances. He asks if she can at least say his name correctly, but Santino comes out and says he is insulting and a sonnamagun. Santino says he has to admit, Fandango does have good moves, but he wants to show off his moves and brought a dance partner. Santino says he and Cobra will two step all over his face, then Santino dances and teases a Cobra Strike before Fandango takes a swing at him, but Santino pulls the ropes and sends Fandango out to the floor.  



Fandango vs Santino Marella
Fandango knocks Santino down and does his pose, then he sends him into the corner but Santino throws him into the turnbuckles and mocks him with a dance. Fandango comes back with some punches and a kick to the head, then he applies a three-quarters facelock but Santino makes it up so Fandango drops him with a punch to the stomach. Santino pops up and throws a few punches and hiptosses him, then he sets up a Cobra Strike but Fandango ducks and hits a reverse STO for the win.

Booker T and Teddy Long are shown talking about new changes, and Booker says he’s upset that Teddy made a match without talking to him. Big Show walks in and thanks Teddy for giving him a tag partner, and rips in to Booker for trying to get him hurt in a handicap match. Show thanks Teddy again and leaves, then Booker looks at Teddy, but Teddy pays no attention and tells Show to wait up for him.



Kofi Kingston vs Wade Barrett
Wade ties up and sends Kofi into the corner, but Kofi kicks him a few times before Wade punches him and kicks him in the ribs. Wade puts him in an armbar but Kofi reverses it, then he applies a side headlock but Wade throws him into the ropes and hits a shoulder block. Kofi comes back with a crossbody for two, then he applies an armbar but Wade punches him until Kofi ducks and hits a leg sweep and a crossbody. Wade sends Kofi into the corner and headbutts him, then he whips him across the ring but Kofi kicks him and tries to go up top, only to have Wade kick him off the apron. Wade goes outside and kicks him in the stomach, then he slams his head off the broadcast table before rolling him in and getting a near fall. Wade picks Kofi up and sets him on the top rope, then he kicks Kofi in the stomach and tries to get another quick pin attempt. He applies a headlock but Kofi breaks it, then he throws a few punches and hits a dropkick in the corner. Kofi tries going up top but Wade sweeps his legs and slams him down, then he goes back to a side headlock but Kofi gets back out of it and hits the ropes. Wade catches him and hits an inverted belly to back slam, then he makes a nonchalant cover but Kofi kicks out and rolls him up for the win.

Renee Young catches up with Mark Henry and asks why he attacked Sheamus, and he says because he can. Henry says that’s what he does, then Sheamus runs over and spears him into some equipment and says that’s what he does, fella, and walks away.



Alberto Del Rio vs Jack Swagger
Swagger tries to attack Alberto’s injured leg, but Alberto attacks Swagger’s shoulder and gets him to retreat to the corner. They tie up and Alberto goes to a waistlock, then he goes back after Swagger’s shoulder and gets him to back away again. Swagger hiptosses Alberto and puts him in a side headlock, then Alberto tries to send him into the ropes but Swagger hits a shoulder block. Swagger goes after Alberto’s leg and attacks him in the corner, then he drags him outside and tries to wrap Alberto’s leg around the ringpost. Alberto blocks it by kicking him into the barricade, then he throws him into the steps before rolling him inside and gets a two count. Alberto picks him up but Swagger suplexes him, then he whips him across the ring but Alberto reverses it and tries to splash him in the corner. Swagger counters by backdropping him over the ropes, then Alberto lands on the apron but Swagger snaps his leg on the ropes as Zeb ridicules him. Swagger tears the kneepad and bandage away from Alberto’s knee, then he twists around on the leg but Alberto kicks him in the head and sets up for an enziguiri. Swagger ducks and catches him with a powerslam for two, then Alberto rolls to the apron so Swagger tries to pull him in but Alberto applies an armbreaker variation on the ropes. Alberto pulls him towards the ropes and connects with a Backstabber for two, then he sets up a Cross Armbreaker but Swagger counters and tries to slam him down. Alberto rolls through and once again goes for his submission, but Swagger shifts his weight and applies the Patriot Lock. A. Alberto gets his knees up and jumps down on Swagger’s shoulder, then he goes for another Cross Armbreaker but Swagger throws him outside. Alberto rolls in and superkicks Swagger for two, but Swagger grabs the ropes before going for the Patriot Lock, only to have Alberto roll him up and take the win.

The Shield cuts a promo about attacking John Cena on Monday, and they say Ryback didn’t help because he knows how justice feels. He says Ryback showed the same look that the Undertaker showed, and they say Undertaker was afraid of them. Ambrose says Undertaker might be unbeaten at Wrestlemania, but they are undefeated, period, and they are going to prove why he should believe in justice this Monday.



The Great Khali, Hornswoggle & Natalya vs Primo, Epico & Rosa Mendes  
We get a clip of the teams fighting over a parking spot earlier today, then Rosa points at Natalya before slapping her in the face. She whips Natalya into the ropes but Natalya slaps her back, then she repeatedly slams her head on the mat before going for a Sharpshooter. Rosa grabs the ropes and trips her up in the corner, then she kicks Natalya a few times before hiptossing her and putting her in a straightjacket headlock. Rosa slams her head on the mat and mocks her, then she kicks her a few times before setting up a suplex. Natalya rolls through and tries to steal a rollup, then Epico tags in and runs towards Khali. He ends up getting tossed across the ring, then Khali chops him in the corner before Primo tries to interfere. Khali grabs him and throws him in the corner, then he chops them both before dropping Epico with a Brain Chop. Rosa screams at him from the apron but Hornswoggle pulls her leg, then Rosa chases him around the ring and screams at him. Natalya ends up dropping her with a clothesline, then Epico tries jumping at Khali but he gets caught midair and Khali chokebombs him for the win.



Mark Henry & Big Show vs Randy Orton & Sheamus
Sheamus and Henry talk trash before Henry tags out, then Show tries to corner him but Sheamus backs him away with a few punches. Show picks him up and throws him on the apron, then he clubs his chest a few times before Sheamus reverses it and proceeds to club him back. Show throws him in the corner but Sheamus stuns him with a kick, then Show ducks a corner kick and kicks Sheamus in the stomach. Sheamus avoids an elbow drop and makes a tag, then Orton hits a few punches before kicking Show in the stomach and backing in to the ropes. Show comes back with a side slam for two, then he headbutts Orton before tagging Henry in. Henry headbutts Orton and shoves him, then Orton fights back with some right hands but Henry puts him in a bearhug. Orton fights out so Henry tackles him in the corner, then Show gets back in and punches him in the stomach. Orton ends up making a tag and Sheamus catches Show with a kneelift, then he hits a Battering Ram before picking him up and hitting White Noise for two. Henry tries to interfere but Sheamus sees him and knocks him off the apron, then Show spears Sheamus as we go to a commercial break. We get back to see Show taunting Orton, then Sheamus fights back with some right hands but Show drops him with a straight right hand. Show hits Final Cut for a near fall, then he hits a scoop slam before Henry gets back in and applies a nerve hold. Sheamus fights to his feet and throws a few punches, but Henry kicks him in the head and gets a two count before Orton breaks it up. Show tags in and chops Sheamus, then Sheamus hits some body punches before Show uses the nerve hold Henry had earlier used. Show slams Sheamus on the mat and chokes him on the ropes, then he argues with the ref before picking Sheamus back up and punching him in the back. Show once again goes to the nerve hold before tackling Sheamus in the corner, then he hits the ropes but Sheamus chopblocks his knees and Sheamus finally makes the tag. Henry gets in at the same time as Orton and runs into some right hands, then Orton hits a few clotheslines that gets Henry off his feet. Orton connects with a DDT for two, then Henry rolls outside so Orton sets up a hanging DDT but Show breaks it up and tags back in. Orton grabs him and DDT’s him from the top rope, then he calls for the end and sets up for an RKO. Henry runs in and attacks him from behind, then Sheamus spears Henry through the ropes as Show chokeslams Orton for the win.

WWE Smackdown April 12, 2013 Results

Smackdown kicks off with our new World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler! Dolph comes down with AJ and Big E Langston. Zig cuts a promo on being champion after cashing in and being better than everyone in the back. Crowd is hot for him. Swagger and Colter come out and interrupt. Colter says that Swagger wants to be the first one to get his hands on that belt. They leave. Alberto Del Rio makes his way down, limping. Alberto also wants a title shot against Ziggler. Now Chris Jericho makes his way to the ramp after Del Rio leaves! Jericho tells Ziggler that his first match as champion will be tonight, against him.




Daniel Bryan & Kane vs The Prime Time Players
Kane and Bryan start off tagging in and out, working over Young. Bryan with the dropkick in the corner and some kicks to the chest. Tag to Titus. Kane comes in the ring and chokeslams Young, Bryan locks in the No! Lock on O’Neil for the win. After the match, The Shield cut a promo on the big screen, saying they can strike any time.




Wade Barrett vs Santino Marella
Barrett dominates this match. Santino manages to avoid the Bullhammer on first attempt but was not able to hit the Cobra. Barrett with the Bullhammer for the win.




Bella Twins & Tamina vs The Funkadactyles & Kaitlyn
Naomi looks impressive in this one with a huracanrana and cross body. Very athletic. Naomi goes for a move off the top rope but is distracted by a Bella. The other one manages to get the pin.




Triple H makes his way down to the right. He talks about the match with Brock Lesnar from Wrestlemania until the 3MB music hits and they come down. As they surround the ring, The Shield comes out and beats down 3MB. In the ring, Triple H is being outnumbered by The Shield before Kane and Bryan make the save. The Shield back off.




Randy Orton & Sheamus vs Big Show
Orton’s ribs are taped up. Never really understood what taping the stomach would do for that though. Anyway, Big Show hits a sidewalk slam and works over the ribs of Randy. Big Show steps on Orton and taunts Sheamus. Punches to the ribs of Orton. Body slam from Show. Sheamus gets the tag and goes right after Show. Spear from Big Show! RKO from Orton followed by a Brogue Kick that sends Show out of the ring. Big Show refuses to come back in and gets the 10 count. After the match Orton and Sheamus are backstage. Sheamus gets interviewed before being attacked by Mark Henry.




Antonio Cesaro vs Kofi Kingston
Cesaro is on the offense for the most part. Kinda slow this time around. Kofi starts fighting back and manages to pull the Trouble In Paradise off out of nowhere. Kofi gets the win, surprisingly




Dolph Ziggler vs Chris Jericho
Fandango was at ringside for this one and the theme song chant was still going strong! Jericho and Ziggler lock up and Jericho takes control before Ziggler punches away at Jericho in the corner and hits a big splash. Ziggler runs at the corner again but Jericho kicked him, climbed to the 2nd rope and hit a dropkick. Jericho chokes Ziggler on the ropes. While Fandango distracts the ref, AJ trips Jericho and Ziggler hits the Fame-asser. Jericho fights back against Ziggler and hits a Lionsault for two. Fandango on the apron again. Ziggler dropkicks him after springboarding. Ziggler jumps into a Walls of Jericho but Fandnago distracts and Big E punches Jericho in the head. Ziggler win the roll up for the win. After the match Jericho attacks Ziggler but Big E gets involved. Zig Zag from Dolph. Big E hits his finisher to Jericho. Fandango comes in and attacks Jericho. Diving leg drop from Fandango.

SmackDown Results March 29, 2013

The Rock comes out and he says about a month ago he did a little thing on Raw called “Storytime With The Rock” and he figures Storytime should continue. He talked about being 15 years old. He continues with showing a picture of himself at 15. He then tells a story about the origin of his famous catchphrase “candy ass” and how it all started in Hershey, Pennsylvania. A man will go to great lengths to get what he wants and that means Hershey Whatchamacallit and it also means beating John Cena at Wrestlemania and last Monday night John Cena got in his face and he kicked Cena’s candy ass. He knows at Wrestlemania John Cena’s going to come back and have more passion and more fire than he’s ever had in his life but Rock is going to keep kicking his candy ass. John Laurinaitis then makes a surprising return. Rock asks who Laurinaitis is and Laurinaitis says everyone in the WWE Universe knows who he is. Rock tells Laurinaitis he interrupted Storytime with The Rock and Laurinaitis says Teddy Long gave him permission to come out and talk to The Rock. Laurinaitis tells Rock they’re a lot alike. Rock is the People’s Champion and Laurinaitis created People Power. He calls himself the greatest General Manager the WWE has ever seen until it was ruined by one man. John Cena. Laurinaitis says Cena is the reason he was fired and also the reason he’s back. Rock tells Laurinaitis to get to the point and Laurinaitis tells Rock that John Cena will do whatever he has to do to beat The Rock and offers him a business proposition. Laurinaitis calls both himself and Rock businessmen and offers to be in The Rock’s corner at Wrestlemania. Laurinaitis says the WWE Universe may not like it and asks Rock if he wants to be popular or if he wants to win. Laurinaitis says winning is everything and with him in Rock’s corner there is no way John Cena will beat Rock at Wrestlemania and compares himself and Rock to a Reeses’ Peanut Butter cups. Rock then polls the WWE Universe on whether or not they’d like to see The Rock team up with Laurinaitis which the crowd boos and the Rock says the people have spoken. Both he and Laurinaitis send John Cena a message together. Rock and Laurinaitis then shake hands and Laurinaitis goes to walk away but Rock pulls him back and delivers a spinebuster followed by The People’s Elbow.





Wade Barrett vs Chris Jericho
Side headlock by Barrett and a shoulderblock off the irish whip. Jericho with a series of chops and a back elbow. Flying forearm to Barrett and Barrett gets clotheslined over the top ropes. Baseball slide by Jericho and Jericho follows Barrett to the outside throwing him back in. Jericho stomps but Barrett fights back with kicks and punches. Jericho reverses the Irish Whip. Barrett sends Jericho over the ropes, Jericho lands on the apron. A punch to Barrett and Jericho going to the top rope but Barrett cuts him off sending him to the floor with a big boot to the skull. Chinlock on Jericho. Jericho fights out of it and a shoulder block by Jericho. Barrett sends Jericho over the ropes. Jericho on the apron climbs to the top rope and delivers an axe handle to Barrett. Jericho misses with the Lionsault. Barrett hits the Winds Of Change. Irish whip by Barrett and Jericho gets the boot up. Jericho off the top rope with a crossbody. Barrett going for Wasteland countered into the Walls by Jericho but Barrett fights out of it. Jericho sends Barrett to the floor. Jericho misses with the springboard kick to the head and lands on the floor. Barrett argues with Miz, and slides back in the ring and Jericho hits the Codebreaker for the three count






Ryback vs Mark Henry - Bench Press Challenge
Booker T and Teddy Long are out for the Bench Press Contest between Ryback and Mark Henry. Both Henry and Ryback are introduced and go to get in each other’s face but Booker breaks it up and warns them if they violate the No Contact clause they will be banned from Wrestlemania. Long then says they flipped a coin to see who would go first and Henry won the coin toss and will begin. Booker informs everyone the current record is 51 reps. Henry sets the record at 53 reps. Ryback is up next. Ryback is one rep away from beating Henry but Henry stops Ryback from reaching 54.




Daniel Bryan & Kaitlyn vs Dolph Ziggler & AJ
Headlock by Ziggler and a shoulderblock off the Irish whip to Daniel Bryan. Bryan with an armdrag and Kaitlyn tags herself in. AJ kicks Kaitlyn. Spinning wheel kick by AJ. AJ with a double neckbreaker. Kaitlyn with a Clothesline. Bryan clotheslines Ziggler and dropkicks him to the corner. Bryan with Ziggler on the top rope and a hurricanrana countered into a sunset flip by Ziggler. Bryan with a series of kicks.  Bryan off the ropes, Langston grabs the ankle and Ziggler hits a dropkick. Kane takes Langston out with the big boot. Ziggler takes Kane out with a baseball slide. Bryan looking for the No Lock. AJ gets the tag and jumps on Bryan’s back as Ziggler kicks Bryan. Bryan with a backdrop and sends Ziggler into the timekeeper’s area. Kaitlyn pulls AJ back in but AJ with the neck snap on the top rope. AJ back in the ring and Kaitlyn hits the spear for the three count

Great Khali vs Jack Swagger
Khali overpowers Swagger. Khali has Swagger tied up in the corner and ducks the big chop. Swagger unloads on Khali. Swagger off the rope this time he runs into the giant chop.  Khali delivers a series of slaps to the chest. Khali looking for the Punjabi Plunge but Swagger delivers a series of knees to the gut. Swagger runs into an elbow and a kick from Khali. Series of clotheslines by Khali and Swagger ducks out of the way of another Khali chop. Khali looking to go after Swagger and Swagger trips him up on the top rope. Swagger going after the leg. Swagger going for the Patriot Lock but Khali kicks him away. Swagger Locks it in on the outside as the referee calls for the double countout. After the match Swagger tosses Hornswoggle into the barricade then steps on his ankle but Ricardo Rodriguez comes out and says Swagger already attacked him twice and challenges him to go for a third.  Rodriguez makes his way down to the ring and Swagger turns around and Alberto Del Rio attacks from behind and locks in the cross armbreaker. Colter pries Del Rio off of Swagger but Rodriguez hits him with the crutch then tosses the crutch to Del Rio. Del Rio winds up but Swagger ducks and retreats back up the ramp.

Big Show, Randy Orton & Sheamus vs Antonio Cesaro & Team Rhodes Scholars

Side headlock by Cesaro. Back elbow by Orton and an uppercut. Sheamus with a series of forearms across the back. Cesaro gets the boots up, Cesaro unloading on Sheamus. Hiptoss blocked by Sheamus and a clothesline to Cesaro.  Show with a series of chest slaps to Rhodes and an elbow to Cesaro. Slam by Show to Rhodes.Sheamus has Sandow by his beard. Orton with the 10 punch in the corner. Uppercut to Sandow. Sandow backs Orton in their corner and Sandow with shoulder tackles. Rhodes with a stomp to the gut. Cesaro with the double stomp on Orton. Cesaro picks Orton up and delivers the gutwrench. Submission hold by Rhodes on Orton. Headbutt by Orton, Rhodes with a knee off the irish whip.  Sandow with knee strikes and the side Russian legsweep. Sandow follows up with the Cobito Acquiet. Chinlock on Orton. Orton with the backbreaker to Sandow. Sheamus with a series of axehandles. Shoulder tackle and kneelift. Sheamus with the Fiery Red Hand on Rhodes, delivers The Fiery Red Hand to Sandow. Sheamus picks Rhodes up and delivers White Noise. Sheamus going for the Brogue Kick but Cesaro and Sandow double team. Show with the KO Punch to Cesaro, sends Sandow into Orton for an RKO and Sheamus with the Brogue Kick to Rhodes for the three count. After the match The Shield comes out from the crowd. Big Show, Sheamus, and Randy Orton goes after them to end the show.

SmackDown Results March 22, 2013

(I really didn't watch SmackDown today so i'm just going to post the WWE's results with the full show.)


The Miz wasted little time asking his special guests, Randy Orton and Sheamus, who would replace Ryback in their upcoming Six-Man Tag Team Match at The Showcase of the Immortals. The Viper made it clear that he wanted Big Show — acknowledging that he would rather have the devil he knew over the devil he didn’t. While WWE’s Apex Predator appeared as the uncharacteristic voice of reason, The Celtic Warrior was not so certain.
The Awesome One then invited the giant himself to join the discussion. While acknowledging that he couldn’t stand Orton or Sheamus, Big Show argued that together they could conquer the likes of Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. Still, his long-standing Irish adversary remained resistant and things quickly grew even more intense between Sheamus and the gigantic Superstar who ended his most recent World Title run.



But the commotion was silenced by the emergence of SmackDown General Manager Booker T, who decided the three competitors would be unlikely partners in a SmackDown main event to see if they could, in fact, get along.
In a related issue, Booker later confronted Theodore Long, expressing his displeasure with the way his Senior Advisor handled his business in the matter of Ryback’s newly created Show of Shows match against Mark Henry. 


Mark Henry def. Zack Ryder; Henry and Ryback face off
With his WrestleMania showdown against Ryback set in stone, Mark Henry unleashed absolute destruction on Zack Ryder in a completely one-sided matchup, finishing him in convincing fashion with the World’s Strongest Slam.
But as the furious World’s Strongest Man continued to punish Long Island Iced-Z after the bell — with two more doses of his devastating finishing maneuver — Ryback stomped into the picture. After an intense staredown that spoke volumes, the “Human Wrecking Ball” delivered an epic clothesline that sent his stunned Showcase of the Immortals adversary heading for the hills. “Feed Me More!”




Dolph Ziggler def. Kofi Kingston
With AJ Lee literally sitting in “on” commentary, Dolph Ziggler bested Kofi Kingston for the second time in a week.
In the final moments of the fast-paced contest, Big E Langston took it upon himself to stand in the way of Kingston’s offensive and become a human shield. This prompted “The Wildcat” to launch an aerial onslaught, leaping off the top rope and out onto Ziggler’s massive enforcer on the ringside floor. Although gutsy, this caused the former Intercontinental Champion to turn his back on his opponent, allowing The Showoff to hit the leg drop and the Zig Zag for the three-count.

After the bell, Big E once again put the exclamation point on Ziggler’s triumph, sending Kingston crashing to the canvas with absolute force. This just may be a prophecy to the destruction that will unfold when Ziggler and his heavy battle WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No at WrestleMania — an epic title contest that will serve as Langston’s first-ever WWE match.




Jack Swagger def. Chris Jericho; Fandango attacked Y2J
Four days earlier on Raw — after attacking World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio — Jack Swagger broke Ricardo Rodriguez’s ankle with the Patriot Lock. With Del Rio reportedly absent from SmackDown to tend to his injured friend, the “Real American” competed against Chris Jericho in a highly anticipated rematch.

Prior to the contest, Zeb Colter stated that what happened to Rodriguez was “unfortunate, but necessary,” and it was nothing compared to what would happen to Del Rio at WrestleMania, though. He warned that, “In Jack Swagger’s America, if bones need to be broken, bones will be broken,” and that it should serve as a “wake-up call” to everybody, including Jericho.
In the height of the hard-fought match that followed, Colter distracted the referee. This cleared the road for a lurking Fandango — who had danced his way down to ringside minutes earlier —to deliver a cheap shot to Y2J. Seizing the opportunity, Swagger followed up with the Swagger Bomb to pick up the victory.
As the smoke cleared, Fandango would deliver a post-match assault to the war-torn Ayatollah of Rock ‘n’ Rolla, leveling him with a thunderous leg drop off the top rope. His attack was, no doubt, a response to Jericho poking fun of his name on Raw.




Brodus Clay & Tensai vs. Cody Rhodes & Damien Sandow ended in a No Contest
Team Rhodes Scholars may have appeared optimistic about the future as they emerged for competition with the lovely Brie & Nikki Bella on their arm. But with only one week passing since a huge Divas brawl broke out between The Bella Twins and The Funkadactyls in the back, history was bound to repeat itself.
And when one of The Bellas jumped up on the apron during the contest between Team Rhodes Scholars and Brodus & “Sweet T,” it triggered another melee between the four Divas and their Superstars and ultimately left the match without a clear winner.




The Miz def. United States Champion Antonio Cesaro
After surviving the face-paced Triple Threat Intercontinental Championship Match on Raw, current titleholder Wade Barrett joined the SmackDown announce team to watch The Miz take on Antonio Cesaro.
After The Awesome One picked up a huge non-title victory over the U.S Champion with the Figure-Four Leglock, he cinched the classic maneuver back onto the Swiss Superstar for a second time, sending a powerful message that The Miz was not done with The Barrett Barrage.




Sheamus & Randy Orton & Big Show def. 3MB; Standoff with The Shield
From the moment SmackDown General Manager Booker T put Randy Orton, Sheamus and Big Show in a match together against 3MB, the buzz ran wild as to whether they would be able to trust each other or a lack of trust would make them vulnerable to a Shield attack.

In the final moments of their main event showdown, a resilient Orton tagged in Big Show, triggering a gigantic attack on Jinder Mahal. But when The World’s Largest Athlete suddenly caught a boot to the face from Drew McIntyre, Sheamus tagged himself in. Seconds later, Big Show rebounded to hit a KO Punch on McIntyre. This cleared the way for The Celtic Warrior to execute the Brogue Kick on the legal Mahal for the pin.
Immediately after the bell, however, Big Show took issue with Sheamus tagging himself into the match after the giant “did the work.” This led to a complete breakdown in order and things looked ready to explode between the three reluctant “partners.”  
Perhaps sensing blood in the water, The Shield emerged from the crowd. But despite the obvious conflict in the ring, the moment that Orton, Sheamus and Big Show saw Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, they instantly presented a united front, causing their treacherous adversaries to rethink their actions and retreat.



In a WWE Active exclusive moment, Big Show stormed out of the ring — after screaming that he is trying to do the right thing — leaving the WWE Universe wondering whether he is destined to join The Viper and The Celtic Warrior on The Grandest Stage of Them All.

Team Rhodes Scholars was dominating throughout the match until Sandow came in the ring to interfere and got caught with a Brogue Kick which then Randy Orton hit an RKO on Rhodes and gets the pinfall.
After the match, The Shield showed up on the titantron and challenged Orton and Sheamus and a mystery partner to a match at WrestleMania 29. They chose Ryback to be their partner.
